It also discusses how such activities can go beyond an injury rehab program and enhance athletic performance.
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

- Implement appropriate interventions as early as day 2 post-concussion
- Understand how continued treatment even after being symptom free is important after concussion after symptom resolution can be beneficial

Randy Cohen, ATC, DPT has been Associate Athletics Director for Medical Services at the University of Arizona since 2001. Before coming to Arizona Randy worked at Purdue University & University of Notre Dame. Randy has a degree in athletic training from Purdue University, a degree in physical therapy from the University of Illinois- Chicago and a doctorate of physical therapy from Simmons College. He is the former Chair of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) College and University Athletic Training Committee. He is the Chair for NATA Risk Management and Liability Assessment Toolkit workgroup. Randy has given numerous presentation to the risk management and insurance association on managing concussions on college campuses along with numerous presentation on the treatment of concussions. Randy was participant at the 2015 UPMC/NFL Targeted Evaluation & Active Management (TEAM) Approach to Treating Concussions.
