In collaboration with Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMC), we are excited to announce that the 3rd Annual Concussion Health Summit will be held on Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29, 2019 at DCMC in Austin, Texas.

The three-day program encourages education and discussion, bringing together an influential array of experts, practitioners, and innovators from a range of specialties who will discuss the latest knowledge and technology regarding diagnosing and treating concussions.

We are excited to announce Christopher Giza, MD will serve as our keynote speaker on Sunday, September 29th! Dr. Giza currently serves on advisory committees for TBI/concussion with the CDC, NCAA, MLS and USSF, and has been a clinical consultant for the NFL, NHL and MLS. He is currently Professor of Pediatric Neurology and Neurosurgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine and Mattel Children’s Hospital and director of the UCLA Steve Tisch BrainSPORT program.

The Program Planning Committee is assembling a faculty with renowned clinical experts to provide opportunities for approved continuing education. The material is presented in a manner to support evidence-based medicine and introduce critical thinking skills in the diagnostic process. The Summit will also provide opportunities to network through social events and technical exhibits.

By emphasizing the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, the Summit will address concussion management across the sports lifespan. Concussion management requires a network of specialty providers to ensure patients are accurately diagnosed and effectively treated.

We are also very pleased to invite you to the Concussion Health Town Hall Meeting! This is an interactive event with open discussions and question & answer sessions among healthcare providers and individuals who have suffered a concussion as well as loved ones and caregivers.

Sign up today and join the interdisciplinary conversation! Stay tuned for more exciting announcements.
